Summary and Suggestions

We have made various preparations, such as preparing ourselves by learning English, preparing teaching materials, learning about the country we will visit, preparing personal equipment before leaving such as passports and other documents, in the midst of my busy schedule as a final student and in fact I have completed the thesis trial and Judicial file, but my judiciary has to be postponed until my program is finished, and I hope and pray that I can carry out my graduation after returning from the Philippines. Before the adventure began, we gathered at our beloved campus 4 to wait for the pick-up to arrive which would take us all to the airport.

The seven of us were placed at different universities, we all departed with Bismillah and full confidence, and this was our first trip together. Through the SEA TEACHER Batch9 program we got to know each other, we had fun on a long transit in Singapore for 12 hours, we felt our legs and bodies were very tired, but that didn't stop us all. We traveled around Singapore during transit and collaborated with each other.

Next we continued our journey to the Philippines, and we were separated according to our respective departure times. We have gone through many things in this country and the most challenging thing is that we live in a Muslim minority country, we have difficulty choosing halal food here, even the sound of the call to prayer which is usually often heard is no longer heard here. That's not why we continue to carry out our obligations as Muslims, and can survive in the Philippines, there is a funny and unique incident here, it turns out there are lots of dogs on the streets and we are worried if our clothes are stained with dog saliva, but we are traveling with friends, and you have to I know that our buddies, three women from the special needs children department, helped us to get rid of the dog, they are like heroes like those on TV, thank you Camel, Mia and Gin, you are very kind.

Everyone here is very kind and attentive to us, thank you, Ma'am Amabel, who bought two rice cookers and a water heater for us to use here.

During the observation, I was a little surprised because I had to see the view of a very large number of students in one class, namely 44 students in the Kindergarten class, and 49 students in Class 1. However, this was a challenge in itself for me to be able to learn a lot about class management with students who Lots. Ma'am Neglanne and Ma'am Roda are two teachers who are very good at handling the class, they work well together to make the children orderly and independent.

To the kindergarten students who are very unique, kind, cheerful, warm, and very intelligent, thank you for welcoming Ma'am Miftah here, thank you for showing proof of your affection and love for Ma'am, thank you to all my students, I miss you so much and I will always miss you

Being there at that time I always think that I truly grabbed the opportunity of a lifetime. I really hope this program continues to provide opportunities for students to experience what I experienced. Those are memories that I will always keep in my heart forever. Thank you WVSU and thank you UAD. Words cannot express how grateful I am to all of you. I would not have made it this far in this program without your constant support and encouragement. This is Miftahul Ichlas, one of the 9th Batch SEA TEACHER Student Exchange Participants who signed the contract.
